Computer Literacy is one of the most misunderstood issues of our time. As a result we live in a computer driven society that is essentially computer illiterate. See "Myths and Facts" and "The Real Digital Divide". The CL-USA goal is to see to it that everyone over the age of 14 is computer literate according to a simple and realistic set of standards. See "Setting Standards." The Computer Literacy Initiative is a project of CL-USA that is achieving global computer literacy with the help and consensus of interested businesses and individuals. To accomplish this, the following steps are being taken.
